Scope and regulatory boundary
M-PID is used here as a working label for a merchant-assigned product identifier. Whether a given SKU satisfies a carrier or customs data requirement depends on the applicable filing message and operator guidance. The checker therefore measures catalog data quality and marks unresolved scope as “Needs regulatory verification”.
